I'm Kristina - a Registered Nurse and Lifestyle Medicine Health Coach
I get it! I understand stress and the profound impact it has on your life.
Hitting burnout in my nursing job took a toll on my health and worsened my autoimmune disease, leaving me exhausted, sidelined from life, and spending all my non-working hours flat on the sofa.
In my search to feel good again, I discovered mindfulness based stressed reduction and learned tools to shift my mindset and better manage stress.
These changes were the catalyst to significantly improving my autoimmune disease, allowing me to reduce medication, eliminate flares, and feel great.
I've spent the past 6 years coaching patients specifically in lifestyle changes - I understand how hard it is to make changes and be consistent with new habits on your own. That is where the power of coaching comes in!
In this group, I'll support you through the exact book that changed my life. My expert coaching will help you follow through, be consistent, and build your own mindfulness practice that will help you gain control over your stress response and start living a calmer life.
Here's what you get
Beginning on April 1st you will:
Embark on a 12-week journey, delving into the practice of mindfulness to infuse calm and peace into your daily life.
Discover the profound impact of cultivating a sustainable mindfulness practice that positively influences every facet of your life.
How it works:
- Complete the assigned reading at the beginning of the week (book provided free)
- Set aside time each (or most) days to practice the mindfulness exercises (5-20 mins)
- Complete weekly worksheets that support the reading & exercises
- Attend live group sessions for coaching, check-ins, discussions, sharing successes, and supporting each other's challenges
Kristina will:
- Coach you to build your mindfulness practice
- Help you work through challenges that crop up
- Facilitate group sessions offering tools, support, accountability, guidance, insight
- Offer a realistic path forward, as you integrate mindfulness practices into your daily life.
- Provide support between sessions via group chat
